99 Problems but a clutch ain't one

Lessons ... Jay-Z and Beyonce

Lessons ... Jay-Z and Beyonce

JAY-Z is taking the ultimate bloke test - teaching his missus to drive.

The Jigga man has set himself the almighty challenge of training BEYONCE in the art of mirror, signal and manoeuvre.
The rap lord has been giving his other half driving lessons for a few weeks on the hectic streets of New York City.
So far there have been no screaming matches over reverse parking, sleeping in separate rooms after kangaroo hopping down the road, or long silences during dinner thanks to awful three-point turns.
Beyonce
Learner ... Beyonce

He must have the patience of a saint.
A source said: "Jay and Bey normally go out mid-morning when it's quiet.
"Their bodyguards are always in tow but they never ride in the car with them."

Flashy

I don't blame them. The Bootylicious songbird has been well brought up but driving brings out the potty mouth in any learner driver.
And while she has some of the best dance moves on the planet, that doesn't mean she's a natural at reversing around a corner.
spacer
The rapper deserves a medal. Speaking from experience, teaching the other half to drive is worse than an SAS stress test.
But Beyonce is doing so well Jay is already eyeing up motors for her for when she passes.
My first car was a Renault Clio and I'd definitely recommend one of those for a new driver.
Jay-Z has his eye on a flashy Bentley but she wants something a little more sensible. A source added: "Beyonce wants something smaller and less pimpy.
"Money isn't an issue but she doesn't want to feel like she's driving a tank. She does want a car that's big enough to take out her family and friends if she needs to though."

Jen puts in the legwork

Jennifer Aniston looking sexy on the set of Just Go With It in
Santa Monica
Limb top form ... Jennifer Aniston

ENNIFER ANISTON's legs must be the envy of many a female tennis pro.

The actress flaunted her slender-yet-firm and muscled pins as she negotiated a tricky curb in Santa Monica, California.
Wearing a figure-hugging dress, Jen's climbing task was made all the harder by her choice of footwear.
Jen's bronzed limbs were surely a talking point among cast and crew on the set of new flick Just Go With It.
Which, in case you haven't already guessed, is yet another romantic comedy...

Lou: Bruce's too old to be alive

War of words ... Louis Walsh and Bruce Forsyth

Sexy Kim can take the heat

THANKFULLY KIM KARDASHIAN spends a lot of time in Miami - as it means we are regularly treated to images such as this.

The reality star was enjoying another dose of pool time with her sister, showing off both her tan and her curves in a skimpy fuchsia bikini.
Kim joined KOURTNEY who was giving her baby, MASON, his first "little poolside adventure".
Being a Kasdashian, the little fella will soon get used to those.

Rihanna rocks

NEVER has a rock star looked so good in a catsuit.

The ex factor: Cameron Diaz and Justin Timberlake revel in each other's company

For some of us, the thought of having a good old laugh with an ex is just not a viability. Not so for Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz, though.

The pair were spotted in fits of uncontrollable laughter on the set of their new joint project, Bad Teacher.

There's clearly not a trace of bad blood between the twosome following their break up in 2007.

They're obviously having a ball filming the new romantic comedy. In it they both play high school teachers - Cameron's character gets dumped by her rich older boyfriend and decides to try and seduce a substitute teacher, played by Justin.

Cameron, 37, and 29-year-old Justin dated for four years before their amicable split. And if these pictures of them are anything to go by, they've remained good friends.

Celeb fans hoping they might rekindle their romance will be disappointed though – Justin is currently dating actress Jessica Biel.

Print Send newsitem Comentar Kelly Brook: back to modelling and looking better than ever

It's her first big modelling job since turning 30 at the end of last year. But if the amazing results are anything to go by, Kelly Brook doesn't have to worry about losing that fabulous figure any time soon.

If anything, the model, actress and TV presenter looks better than ever in her just-released video for underwear firm Ultimo's new spring collection.

"I'd say my face is thinner, my boobs droopier and my hips wider," the Kent-born beauty told HELLO! after she was announced as the new face of Ultimo last month.

"But I do think I look better now – everything has just relaxed a bit."

With Kelly's face alluringly obscured and a raunchy rock riff from AC/DC playing in the background, the video keeps things real as it cuts between shots of her perfect curves, which are clad in Ultimo's Coco Balcony bra and sports set.

"We wanted the shoot to look editorial and not like a catalogue shoot," said the star, who is currently dating British rugby hunk Danny Cipriani.

"We all wanted to do something sexier, edgier and lightly polished. You can really see me, not a cartoon version of me."

Kelly follows in the footsteps of Penny Lancaster, Rachel Hunter, Helena Christensen and former Spice Girl Melanie Brown as the new face and body of Ultimo.

"Kelly is a natural beauty and is effortlessly sexy, making her the perfect choice for Ultimo," said company founder Michelle Mone.

"This campaign is our most striking yet and represents the qualities of the new range; irresistibly sexy, luxurious, aspirational and feminine."

"The pictures really do speak for themselves."

Girls just wanna have fun: Sarah Jessica Parker's baby gets giggles on school run

Who could have known that accompanying mum on the school run could be this fun? One of Sarah Jessica Parker's twin daughters was snapped mid giggle this week as she joined the actress to pick up her son James Wilkie from school.

It was impossible to tell if the adorable youngster was Marion or Tabitha, who are both now nine months old. The cute youngsters – who were delivered via surrogate - are getting to be a regular sight around New York with their famous mum and their nanny, and the camera clearly loves them.

Sarah is managing just fine to juggle her dual roles of mum and Hollywood star. Hours after she picked up her seven-year-old from school the 45-year-old was in work mode – and all glammed up - to launch new reality TV show Work of Art: The Next Great Artist, of which she is executive producer.

The mum-of-three - elegant at the new launch in a Grecian-style jersey dress and a chunky gold heart pendant – has made the new programme in association with Project Runway.

In it, 14 artists compete for the top prize - a solo show at a national museum and a cash prize.

Danielle Bux: Posh’s dresses are bloody expensive

Model thinks designer's clothes are pricey

Danielle Bux would feel guilty buying one of Victoria Beckham's frocks.
The model, who is married to ex-footballer Gary Lineker, thinks they're on the pricey side.
‘I love her dresses,' says Danielle, 30.
'But they're bloody expensive, nearly £4,000 in some cases, it's ridiculous.
‘I can't justify spending that!'
But Danielle does admire Posh's dress sense.
'She just gets more and more stylish,' Danielle tells Celebs On Sunday.
‘Women really come into their own post-30.'

Rochelle Wiseman: Marvin Humes and I are really into each other

The Saturdays singer thinks he's hot

Rochelle Wiseman is smitten with JLS's Marvin Humes.
The Saturdays singer, 21, only split from her long-term boyfriend Darren Randolph in December.
So she's decided to take things slowly with Marvin, 25, for now.
‘It's early days, you know,' says the former S Club 8 star.
‘It's exciting and it's fun and we're both really into each other.
‘He's a lovely guy. And he's gorgeous.'
Rochelle, 21, admits she finds her new man irresistible.
'Physically, oh my!' she adds. 'I mean I think everyone loves his stomach.
'Come on, have you seen it? It's rock hard and very sexy.'

Selena Gomez: I'm not feuding with Miley Cyrus

Disney star says actress is a 'sweetheart'

Selena Gomez has rubbished rumours she's not on good terms with Miley Cyrus.

The Wizards Of Waverly Place actress is billed as the next big Disney star now Miley's leaving Hannah Montana.

‘I'm not here to replace anyone,' says Selena, 17. ‘Miley is such a sweetheart.
'There is no feud, there's nothing going on.'

Selena feels fortunate to have a showbiz career.

‘Life is very hectic, but I feel like one of the luckiest girls in the world,' she tells the Daily Mirror.
'And I love every single thing that I'm doing.
‘Yes, at times it is a lot, but it's a lot of what I love.'

Whitney Houston brands drug rumours 'ridiculous'

Singer dismisses reports she's relapsed

Whitney Houston has rubbished claims she is using drugs.
The singer postponed the first four shows of her European tour, sparking speculation she'd relapsed.
But Whitney, who was married to Bobby Brown, has branded the reports 'ridiculous'.
‘I just don't respond,' she says. ‘I don't even read it.'
Whitney was hospitalised in Paris for an upper respiratory infection earlier this week.
She had to cancel a concert in the city as well as gigs in Manchester and Glasgow.
The tour will resume on 13 April in Birmingham and the postponed dates have been rescheduled.
‘I'm feeling great,' Whitney, 46, tells People. ‘I'm just ready to move on and continue my world tour...
'My health is terrific. This is the time I get a lot of allergies...

‘I'm doing what I love to do, which is singing. The best part is seeing all of my fans around the world.'

Lindsay Lohan on dad's engagement: I'm gonna vomit

Star not pleased by Michael Lohan's news

Lindsay Lohan isn't impressed her dad is set to remarry.
Michael Lohan proposed to long-term girlfriend Kate Major, 27, after asking her dad for permission.
'I'm gonna vomit!' Lindsay, 23, tells Us Weekly. 'I so didn't need that info...Yuck!'
Michael, 49, divorced Lindsay's mum Dina in 2007 after 22 years of marriage.

George Clooney: I haven't split with Elisabetta Canalis

Actor says he's not back on the market

George Clooney has rubbished rumours he's broken up with his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis.

Internet reports claimed the Up In The Air actor had split with the Italian model.

‘Once again the story is made up, spread to other outlets and now denied,' George, 48, says in a statement to People.

‘But don't let facts get in the way of a good story.'

George and Elisabetta, 31, started dating last year.

Katie Price wants to be Kerry Katona's best friend again

Jordan ready to make up with her old rival
Worried friends say Kerry Katona's friendship with Peter Andre is causing trouble in Katie Price's two-month marriage to Alex Reid.
Alex doesn't understand her obsession with Peter and who he might be dating,' reveals a source.

‘It's not jealousy - Alex just finds it bizarre that it bugs Jordan so much. The way he sees it, Peter has moved on, so why can't she? But that kind of attitude just enrages Jordan more.

'She really believes that Kerry and Peter are doing this to get back at her and it infuriates her.'

Despite them becoming friends after taking part in I'm A Celebrity - Getting Me Out Of Here! together, Jordan, 31, came to despise former Atomic Kitten singer Kerry, 29.

This week, she even described her to friends as an ‘Iceland version of me'.

But while she decides how to exact her revenge, insiders say Jordan's even toying with the idea of making up with Kerry - just to throw a spanner in the works.

‘If there's one woman you should never cross, it's Katie,' says a source.

‘She really knows how to get to people. She's only too aware that it would freak out her former manager Claire Powell - who looks after both Peter and Kerry - if she were to befriend Kerry again.

'She also says that would put the spotlight back on her. She's barely keeping her anger in check at the moment, but she's developing a plan for huge success this year that'll blow Pete and Kerry out of the water.'

HOT PIC! Alex Reid goes nude for photoshoot

Katie Price's husband shows off toned body

Alex Reid has stripped off for a good cause.
The Celebrity Big Brother winner, 34, posed naked to raise awareness of male cancer charity Everyman.
In the image, Alex, who wed Katie Price, 31, in Las Vegas in February, is poised to throw a discus.
His new show Alex Reid: The Fight Of His Life airs on Bravo on Mondays at 9pm.
The nude snap appears in the May issue of Cosmopolitan, on sale now.

PICS Cheryl Cole wears skull ring on wedding finger

X Factor judge goes gothic in Paris

Cheryl Cole has been snapped with a skull ring on her wedding finger.
The X Factor judge wore the large silver and red accessory as she spoke to fans outside a Paris hotel.

Cheryl, 26, later appeared on France's Vivement Dimanche talk show without the ring.

She hasn't worn her £160,000 wedding band since she split from husband Ashley, 29.

Amanda Holden: Cheryl Cole was right to leave Ashley

Simon Cowell's right-hand girls stick together

Amanda Holden has backed Cheryl Cole's split from husband Ashley, branding the alleged cheat a ‘worm'.

'Cheryl has definitely made the right decision leaving him,' says Amanda.

'When you're married to someone as fabulous as Cheryl, why would you keep being a worm?'

But the Britain's Got Talent judge says she feels sorry for Cheryl and worries that the break-up of her marriage has hit the singer very hard.

'She must be heartbroken because you don't stop loving somebody,' Amanda, 39, tells OK! 'She'll have to go through hell before she comes out the other side.'
Since the separation in February, Cheryl, 24, has been throwing herself into her work.
'I just want to stay busy,' she says, 'and keep the energy flowing.'

Peter Andre house-hunts for family home

Singer needs a more convenient pad

Peter Andre is searching for a new property.
The singer's been renting a home in Hove, near Brighton, since he split from Katie Price last year.
'I've decided that it's time for me to buy a house,' he says.
'So I'm weighing up my options at the moment.
Pete, 37, says the location of his current pad is not that convenient.
'It's not that near Junior's school and that's a real priority for me,' he writes in his new! diary.
'I want a nice family home.

Buju's trial postponed for another week

THE trial involving Jamaican Reggae artiste, Buju Banton, has been postponed for another week.
The trial was set to begin in a Tampa, Florida court next Monday but according to Banton's attorney, David Markus, that date was no longer suitable.
This is the second postponement of the trial which was originally set to begin in March.
Buju Banton, whose real name is Mark Anthony Myrie, is accused of intent to distribute five or more kilogrammes of cocaine at Sarasota in Tampa.
He was arrested at his Tamarac home in South Florida by Federal agents in December last year and has been in custody ever since.
The agents claim to have footage showing the artist tasting cocaine in a Federally controlled warehouse.
Last month a US judge refused a request from Markus that Banton be transferred to another facility on the basis that he had lost 40 pounds and was being denied vegetarian meals.
The magistrate said prison records showed that the artist had gained 11 pounds since his detention and that he had purchased supplies of chicken, tuna and mackerel at the prison commissary.

Ninja Man remanded

DANCEHALL entertainer Ninja Man, who along with his son and two other men are charged with murder, was remanded when he appeared in the Supreme Court today.
Ninja Man, whose real name is Desmond Ballentine, along with his son Janeil, Dennis Clayton and Seymour Samuels, have been jointly charged with the murder of Robert Johnson, who was shot and killed in Tower Hill, St Andrew last year.
Police alleged that the four, who were travelling in a grey motor car, drove up to Johnson’s home at Marl Road and fired several shots hitting Johnson.
Ninja Man, who is being represented by attorney Norma Linton, appeared in court with his face bushy and his hair unkempt.
No application was made for bail by his attorney and the case is set to continue on April 23.
Janeil Ballentine and Clayton were also remanded in custody while Samuels had his bail extended.
Ninja Man turned himself in to the police, but his son was held weeks later. He was allegedly found hiding in a house in deep rural Jamaica.

Bounty Killer refused bail

DANCEHALL DJ Bounty Killer was refused bail when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court this morning.
Bounty Killer, whose real name is Rodney Pryce, was charged with assault occasioning bodily harm and threatening a complainant on Monday.
He is also facing charges of illegal possession of a firearm and unlawful wounding after an altercation with an off-duty cop in New Kingston in 2007.
The artist was refused bail by Senior Magistrate Judith Pusey on the grounds that it he committed the new offenses while out on bail.
Police say the 38-year-old DJ was arrested at his East Avenue home early Monday morning after a woman complained that he physically attacked her after she informed him that their three-year relationship was over.
While being processed at the Constant Spring Police Station, Pryce reportedly called the complainant and threatened her life in the presence of the police.
A police investigator told the court that associates of the DJ had been pressuring the woman to drop the charges against him.
Pryce is one of several artists whose visas were revoked by the United States embassy last week.
He is expected back in court on April 14.

M.I.A Blasts Gaga

M.I.A reckons Lady Gaga is a "mimc" of her and "the industry's last stab at making itself important".
The 'Paper Planes' singer understands comparisons between herself and Gaga when it comes to image, but reckons her pop rival's songs live up to her eclectic, forward thinking style.
She told NME: "There's Gaga - people say we're similar, that we both mix all these things in the pot and spit them out differently, but she spits it out exactly the same.
"None of her music's reflective of how weird she wants to be. She models herself on Grace Jones and Madonna, but the music sounds like a 20-year-old Ibiza disco.
"mimc of her and the industry's last stab at making itself "important
"She's not progressive, but she's a good mimic. She sounds more like me than I f***ing do!"
M.I.A also added that the 'Telephone' singer represents the corporate music industry, which flies in the face of her Do-It-Yourself ethos.
She added: "She's got a great team behind her, but she's the industry's last stab at making itself important - saying, 'you need our money behind you, the endorsements, the stadiums'. Respect to her, she's kept a thousand people working, but my belief is Do-It-Yourself."
M.I.A - real name Maya Arulpragasam - also said she turned down the opportunity to have a song on the teen movie 'Twilight'.
She added: "They asked me. Luckily he chairman of my US label had beef with the 'Twilight' people, so he stepped in and told them to f**k off."

Amy Winehouse helps goddaughter up out of the gutter instead of herself

Amy Winehouse took on a new role yesterday as she helped her goddaughter Dionne Bromfield up off the pavement when she took a tumble.

It’s not often that Amy is seen helping someone else up off the floor so this really was a sight to behold.

The pair were out shopping in central London but the city’s pavements clearly proved too much for Dionne, 14, to handle as she took an almighty trip up one of them nearly landing flat on her face and even trying to take her godmother down with her.

Winehouse looked completely shocked as she watched Dionne fall down but managed to help her up and reach composure again in front of the snappers who caught it all on camera.
However, Amy’s previous experience of falling over in front of paparazzi proved to be very useful as after a hug and a few words of encouragement from the singer, the pair carried on with their day as if nothing had happened.

There are rumors flying that Amy and Dionne will be starring in a new BBC3 show involving adult stars and their younger protégés.
Amy signed Dionne to her own record label Lioness Records last year and is reportedly very optimistic of the starlet’s future music career.
The teenage singer is currently working on new material. Perhaps they are planning on re-launching themselves in the music world together.

Ash's New Girl: The Truth

Ashley Cole has been keeping a low profile since separating from Cheryl.

But The Sun says he's already moved on to a new woman.

Published as part of their Bizarre column, the newspaper has reported that Ashley is seeking comfort from Saturdays singer Frankie Sandford.

The Sun quoted a source as saying: "Frankie and Ashley have met on a number of occasions over the last few weeks.

"They enjoy staying in watching films and eating takeaway Nandos. Ashley has found a good pal in Frankie, he really enjoys her company. She is fond of him as well."

But Frankie has flatly denied the rumours via her Twitter page.

Writing just hours after the story broke, she argued: "Really upset and angry by the story in The Sun. Can't believe they can just print something that's not true. I've never even met the man."

In fact, Frankie has recently broken a month-long silence from her Twitter page, following a spate of false rumours about her love life. On 2nd March she posted a tweet to fans explaining why she was disappearing: "I'm sorry to say but I'm taking a break from twitter for a while. The abuse following untrue stories is just too much to take."
Phew, glad that's all cleared up.
Meanwhile, Cheryl continues to show Ashley what he's missing

Woods' credibility questioned by US media

AUGUSTA, Georgia (AFP) -- US commentators yesterday raised doubts whether Tiger Woods was really telling the truth about being a changed man after fooling his wife for years about his multiple sexual affairs.
"Should we believe Tiger Now?" headlined a USA Today column yesterday where Christine Brennan noted, "There is no way to know if the Tiger Woods we watched Monday is telling the truth," while admitting "I want to believe Tiger Woods."

Woods' credibility questioned by US media
AFP
Wednesday, April 07, 2010
AUGUSTA, Georgia (AFP) -- US commentators yesterday raised doubts whether Tiger Woods was really telling the truth about being a changed man after fooling his wife for years about his multiple sexual affairs.
"Should we believe Tiger Now?" headlined a USA Today column yesterday where Christine Brennan noted, "There is no way to know if the Tiger Woods we watched Monday is telling the truth," while admitting "I want to believe Tiger Woods."
The golfing superstar won high marks for his answers at a Monday news conference at the Augusta Masters during which he faced 35 minutes of questions from reporters, the first inquest since his adultery scandal broke in November.
But after the revelation of his secret life, "living the life of a lie" as Woods put it in a television interview last month, the bigger question about golf's number one player is "How can anyone believe anything he says?"
Woods says he is meditating more and returning to core morals and Buddhism.
"I had to really take a hard look at myself," Woods said Monday. "That's when I started finding peace and strength."
Woods has laughed and joked with spectators in practice rounds at Augusta National, but such moves are easy when they are vital to influencing the public reaction that will in large measure decide how Woods will be judged hereafter.
"Woods said he's a changed man. It's impossible to know how honest he is when that is the quality he abandoned. He deserves a chance to prove himself. Grace transforms the grotesque," wrote the Miami Herald.
Without some level of public trust, the man who became the greatest pitchman in sports history for product endorsement deals might find even his life's dream of 18 major titles a soured achievement.
"I take full responsibility for what I've done," Woods said. "I lied to a lot of people, deceived a lot of people, kept others in the dark and even lied to myself.
"I acted just terribly, poorly, made just incredibly bad decisions that have hurt so many people close to me."
Deeds, not words, have been the trademark for Woods, his incredible shotmaker skills matched by zealous guarding of his private life. Does Woods regret his misdeeds, or only that he was caught?
One person was quick to pass judgement Monday.
"He is a big fat liar. He is not honest," said Joslyn James, a pornographic film star who is among more than a dozen women claiming a relationship with Woods. "After the birth of his daughter he was with me 10 days later."
Only time and actions, perhaps a lifetime of both, are likely to provide a final answer about Woods the man, no matter how Woods the golfer fares in his return.
"We know that he is special," wrote Matthew DeBord in the online Huffington Post. "But we also know that Tiger Woods is capable of monstrously distorted conduct. There is Jekyll. There is Hyde. There is Tiger."

Bolt confirmed for Adidas GP in June

NEW YORK, United States (CMC) -- Jamaica's sprint sensation Usain Bolt will compete in the 100 metres at the Adidas Grand Prix at Icahn Stadium on Randall's Island here in June.
Organisers said the Adidas Grand Prix, formerly known as the Reebok Grand Prix, will be the fifth stop on the inaugural IAAF Diamond League circuit.

The Adidas Grand Prix said Bolt, the reigning Olympic champion and World record holder in the 100 and 200 metres, was "one of the most popular and sought after sports personalities in the world."
"A showman, both on and off the track, Bolt shocked the world in Beijing in 2008, not just by winning the 100m gold medal but by doing so in a never-before-seen dominating and entertaining world record effort," organisers said.
"He followed up this victory just days later with another historic world record at 200m (19.30) and again in the 4x100m Relay (37.10)."
Adidas Grand Prix said last year Bolt had "outperformed the world as well as his own seemingly untouchable world best marks", with two more records (9.58 in the 100m and 19.19 in the 200m) at the World Championships in Berlin.
Bolt has been named Athlete-of-the-Year by the IAAF, athletics' world governing body, and has also claimed the Laureus World Sportsman-of-the-Year for the last two years running.
Organisers said newly-crowned world indoor champions Bernard Lagat of the United States and Jessica Ennis of Great Britain, as well as American record-holder Hyleas Fountain will "ride the wave of their recent successes" when they compete at the Adidas Grand Prix.
The golden girl of British athletics, Ennis will face-off against Fountain, the Olympic heptathlon silver medallist, in a special multi-event challenge, featuring the long jump, shotput, and 100m hurdles.
The Adidas Grand Prix, in its sixth year, is considered the US' premier outdoor track and field invitational meet.

Dem tek way mi visa but mi still have mi life — says Beenie Man in new song

King of the Dancehall, Beenie Man, without missing a beat, has launched a lyrical attack on the United States Embassy, as he grapples with the reality of the recent revocation of both his US work permit and his visitor's visa.
"Dem tek weh mi visa but mi still have mi life," goes the chorus of the song in which Beenie Man mentions that he isn't "frighten fi foreign" and even gives props to Gully God Mavado, by mentioning his name and a line from that deejay's current hit, Starlight.

Interestingly, Beenie Man also mentions that he has his girl "in foreign" and states that "all mi haffi do now is divorce mi wife".
In the song, which has been receiving power play on one particular radio station, but which has not yet been officially released Beenie ponders the reason why his visa was cancelled and seeks to reassure himself, and his fans, that his visa will soon be returned, as he intends to "pressure" the case.
It was reported last week that top dancehall deejays Beenie Man, Bounty Killer, Mavado, Aidonia, along with veteran selector, Ricky Trooper, had their visas revoked by the US Embassy.

Bounty Killer Arrested again

The troubles facing popular dancehall star Bounty Killer are mounting. Less than one week after the United States Embassy in St Andrew indicated that he was among five Jamaican entertainers to have their visas revoked, the 38-year-old has found himself in more trouble with the law.
Bounty, whose correct name is Rodney Pryce, was arrested at his East Avenue, Kingston 10, house yesterday morning and charged with assault occasioning bodily harm.
It is alleged that on March 25, Pryce’s female companion decided to end their three-year relationship. He reportedly refused, and attacked her.
A report was made to the police and, following investigations, a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Investigators say that when Pryce was being processed at the Constant Spring Police Station yesterday morning – in keeping with standard police operating procedure – he was allowed to make a telephone call.
According to the police, Pryce used that opportunity to call the complainant and threaten her life in the presence of the police.
He was subsequently refused station bail and booked to appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate’s Court tomorrow.
This will not be Pryce’s first time appearing in court on accusations of abusing a woman.
In 2009, the entertainer faced the same Resident Magistrate’s Court to answer to charges of assault occasioning bodily harm on a woman who was said to be pregnant.
Severly beaten
At that time, it was alleged that Pryce was partying at a popular nightclub in New Kingston when he saw the complainant and said, “Wha yuh a do yah!” He then allegedly shoved her in the chest and punched her in the face and all over her body.
It was further alleged that his friends joined in the attack before the woman was rescued by patrons.
That charge was dropped after the complainant told the court she did not wish to proceed.
Pryce is also now before the Gun Court on a charge of unlawful wounding and illegal possession of a firearm following a September 2007 altercation with an off-duty policeman in New Kingston.
He is also facing a judge in the Traffic Court on several counts of reckless driving and other traffic violations, including refusing to submit to a breathalyser test.
The star, who has been close to the top of the local dancehall industry for more than two decades, has also faced drug charges as well as charges of using profanity onstage.
