Foxy Megan is Red hot Sonja?

THE prospect of MEGAN FOX in a chainmail bikini is bound to get red-blooded males hot under the collar.

And producer ROBERT RODRIGUEZ is hoping the sexy star will get his delayed remake of Red Sonja off the ground.

The 1985 original starred BRIGITTE NIELSEN as the teenager turned warrior from the Conan comic strip, opposite ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER as Prince Kalidor.

The remake has been on the cards for a while and was set to star the producer's former fiancée ROSE McGOWAN until she accepted a different role in the remake of Conan.

And Robert recently admitted that the production had been beset by money problems.

"If I kept the project myself, we could've just made it, but it belonged to another company that had financing problems," he said.

"They had to wait until they made a couple of other movies first.

"They're actually waiting until they make the Conan movie before they do that - to see how that works for them."

Now Robert has offered the role of the armoured beauty to the Transfomers star in an attempt to drum up some fresh interest in the project.

Sounds like a surefire plan...
