Amanda Holden has backed Cheryl Cole's split from husband Ashley, branding the alleged cheat a ‘worm'.
'Cheryl has definitely made the right decision leaving him,' says Amanda.
'When you're married to someone as fabulous as Cheryl, why would you keep being a worm?'
But the Britain's Got Talent judge says she feels sorry for Cheryl and worries that the break-up of her marriage has hit the singer very hard.
'She must be heartbroken because you don't stop loving somebody,' Amanda, 39, tells OK! 'She'll have to go through hell before she comes out the other side.'
Since the separation in February, Cheryl, 24, has been throwing herself into her work.
'I just want to stay busy,' she says, 'and keep the energy flowing.'
